Beautiful Little Haitian Girl Well we are off!…Sort of… It is almost time to leave, almost time to make our trek to Cap Haitian and Port au Ciel, Haiti. Our team of 9 team members, will leave from CrossPointe church in Madison, AL this Friday at 1pm. We are most anxious to get on our way! Our trip will begin a series of trips [...] New Life Haiti It was only a week but it seemed so long. That is how long it was before Pastor Rick Hutchinson and the Living Water national team to reached the disaster area. They drove 12 hours to get there over dangerous mountain ranges. It has been 5 days since an earthquake struck the small island of Haiti. Five days of tragedy beyond my comprehension – relief has been pouring into the small island’s capital (the site of the most destruction) of Port au Prince. 1500 miles from here is a concrete pad with a pump and an alloy placque stamped with the name Cross Point. (There’s no “e” at the end of Pointe–but it’s us…) Living Waters provides the placques to remind the people of the village of the date and donor of the well. While our church name [...] CrossPointe Team Week is almost over,It has been an amazing week and we could not ask for any better way to end our trip. We are in La Sabia and staying at the Canadian. Yesterday our team arrived in the village and started drilling the water well. When we arrived the skies pened up and the rain continued. I want you to think about something this morning, Imagine living in a village where the water is dirty,where the water at the school your children attend is so filthy you ask them not to drink it. The Lord has truly blessed us with great travel and a wonderful Living Water Leadership. Today we traveled from our airport in San Pedro Sula and took a living water bus about 4.5 hours to our hotel in Saba Colon which is the Hotel Ejecutivos.
