Isaiah 6:8
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
"Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"

Beautiful Little Haitian Girl

Beautiful Little Haitian Girl

Bonjour!

It is 3:12 am and we are on our final leg of our trip home. We arrived in Ft Lauderdale yesterday and immediately ran into our rooms and had a wonderful hot shower with sweet smelling shampoo and soap! Then we went to a diner and had hamburgers and fries and dessert. It was like a feast! We all felt guilty as the food that we consumed could have fed the entire village that we left in Haiti. The Lord blessed us with an incredible hotel that had just opened, which was a beautiful wonderful blessing.

As we all reflected our trip at dinner last night, it was apparent that everyone was touched by Haiti in some way. We will never be the same. All though our bodies are back in the states but our hearts are still with our village of Campion and Pastor Woosevelt. We found out that when we left the village on Friday (after the cookout) that the Pastor of the Village was on the floor wailing and crying because the Lord Jesus Christ had answered his prayers. Tears of complete Joy. Pastor had been working in the village by himself for 6 years by himself.

I do not have enough time to blog all my feelings right now as we are running out the door to the airport. We will be on seperate planes to Atlanta and have many thoughts to work thru as we put our gameplan together for our return trips.

Our Lord is amazing! As I was reading "The Hole in our Gospel" by Richard Stearns last night.....I had the assurance that we were embarking on a journey that the Lord has preplanned and would be glad we had chosen to be obedient in serving his starving children.

All though we are emotionally and physically exhausted, we are energized in his Love and comfort in knowing that we have a mighty God! More than anytime in my life, I now know that he is ever present and his love is endless.

Blessings, I will write more soon,

Thank you for the prayers please continue for our safe return and when we arrive home.

Glennis
