What Is The World Race?
What Is The World Race?
Have you ever wondered if there’s something more out there? If there’s more to life than empty traditions, routines, and working 9-5 everyday to achieve the impossibility of the American dream?
It’s because there is.
There is a generation of radicals whose heartbeat is to see a changed world. It’s a generation that’s dissatisfied with the status quo and is actively rising to the challenge of seeing the world transformed through tangible expressions of God’s love. World Racers are seeing lives changed in nations all over the world.
CrossPointe Church in Madison, AL is pleased to have a person in this upcoming World Race! His name is Joel Dutton and he will be leaving on January 5th. If you would like more information on the world race you can go to: http://www.theworldrace.org/?tab=about there is a great video clip that explains it all.
For more information on Joel’s trip, to watch his blog, or make a donation you, you can go to http://joeldutton.theworldrace.org/ and find all the information that you need. In addition to his expenses Joel is praying for a Notebook computer to take with him.
In addition you can always view Mission Fields Online blog for Joel’s latest updates to his blog as he crosses the globe.

Isaiah 6:8
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
"Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"
Alabama Tornadoes
As the days go by and we see more and more of the damage and desolation from the April 27, 2011 tornadoes we come to realize how small our world really is!!
As people come together and reach out to help one another we know that God is still on the throne and all is well.
As hard as it is to answer the question why we know that what has happened is that we have all come together to help and to build a new community among the ruins. Volunteers have helped survivors and made new friends for a lifetime.
As I write this more people are coming to help - people from Tennessee helping those from Alabama and many more. So if you are a team coming to help just follow the link below for updates and information. May God Bless all of us and keep us safe!!
Tweeting To God
God always talks to us in so many ways and with so many voices! As I was browsing the internet I came across yet another way for him to communicate with us or I guess you could say another way for us to communicate with him. It is a blog called: TweetYourPrayers. The blog belongs to a young man in Israel named Alon Nir. He is a Tel Aviv University student with a big heart and a very unusual prayer ministry. He has people send him prayers from all over the world. He has received and placed 3,812 prayers, as of October 2009.

Placing prayers in the Western Wall between the stones is a very old tradition. For hundreds of years people of the Jewish faith have been placing prayer requests and notes in the wall. People of other faiths also practice this tradition when they visit the holy city of Jerusalem. It is believed by many that the Wall serves as a direct channel to the Lord.
The blog states that their hopes are that this mission will help people around the world connect with the Western Wall, "The Kotel", God's Wall and make changes in their lives.
I encourage you to visit this site for pictures and several video presentations.
Right now I am heading to Twitter and Facebook to become a follower of Tweet Your Prayers!
